Why the anti-shoe is the anti-shoe

In the late 90s we started a crusade. We realised that the human body is simply not built to walk or stand on hard, flat surfaces. We also discovered that conventional shoes stabilise the body in such a way that the body’s supporting muscle system is neglected, which can result in joint and back pain. We named our footwear MBT, and refused to call it a shoe. Because MBT is totally different.

Harrods. Grand. Luxurious. Quintessentially British. You feel it the moment you step through the doors. It’s a shopping experience. A true sensation… a sumptuous palace in Knightsbridge, filled with floor upon floor of the best the world has to offer. Harrods are so passionate they have devoted the “entire 5th floor to supplying the best brands and latest trends in sporting equipment, clothing and footwear”. (Quotes from Harrods’ website)
