MBT Sales Associate - Beales Worthing

Job Title: MBT Sales Associate

Location: Beales Department Store
Address: Beales Worthing, South Street, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 3AN
Hours: 20 hours per week, including weekends – flexibility is a must: Monday to Sunday
Salary: £7 per hour + competitive commission
Start date: Immediate Start
Closing date: Monday 13th February

You will be employed by MBT, working in store at Beales - one of our premium retail outlets.

We are looking for a part-timer for our new exciting concession. You will work with our MBT Concession Manager.

You are an exceptional sales person. A healthy product means healthy commission: smash your personal sales target and be financially rewarded. Selling a product that lives up to the hype; a product that really provides the benefits it claims to; an easy sale for you.

You…
… have an exceptional track record with a minimum of two year’s experience in a retail environment. You are naturally enthusiastic. You are reliable in completing tasks, and proactive in your approach to work; a team player with the ability to be flexible and work under pressure. You can think on your feet and resolve problems. For you the customer is the focus.

Ideally, you are interested in sports ,fitness, or wellbeing. You will be trained by MBT so that you fully understand the features and many health benefits of wearing the product. This will ensure you have the necessary knowledge and passion that enables you to share these with our customers and your team. Outstanding product knowledge and passion about health is imperative.

You must be flexible and able to work both week days and weekends when required.

Requirements:
  • A good team leader with plenty of self-motivation.
  • A people person committed to the needs of the customer.
  • At home in a fast-moving, pressurised environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant consumer rights i.e. Sale of Goods Act, etc...
  • Familiar working with EPOS systems, and a fast learner.
  • Able to ensure exceptional store standards are achieved and maintained including housekeeping, hygiene and visual merchandising.
  • Able to take directions, and receive feedback.

  • Comfortable with information technology including reporting and all Microsoft packages.
  • Familiar working with EPOS systems, and a fast learner.
  • Proficient in using Excel to an intermediate standard.
  • Have excellent communication skills to make sure all members of your team are commercially aware of the business, store and customer at all times.
  • Able to ensure exceptional store standards are achieved and maintained including housekeeping, hygiene and visual merchandising.
  • Able to source and work on local marketing initiatives.
  • Able to take directions, and receive feedback.
